T he process for making plates is quicker than it may appear. The bulk of the work goes into the design--recreating the artwork and laying out the text in the size and style desired. I will design and make custom plates for any type of project.

Provide your camera-ready artwork or just a general idea I can work from, and leave the rest to me. I have made plates for private collectors who wanted a one-of-a-kind plate for their custom diorama. Masters for kit producers like Resin Realities and Forbidden Zone. Several toy prototypers take the master and cast in wax to add texture or folds when adding to sculpted works.

When you buy a custom plate, it is yours to do as you wish. I do not retain any rights. Prices start at $45.00 for a 2" x 3" plate. $75.00 for a 3" x 4" plate. Price includes standard shipping in the USA.

R equirements for artwork: 300-600 DPI at actual size. Greyscale PNG or EPS. I can use your logo and elements to create the art for you if it is not camera ready.

B elow you will see a plate done for Rob Mattheson of Monster Model Review. I generated a master plate for him in metal in less than one week, and for an added fee I also made a mold in this instance.

O nce payment is complete, the metal plate will be etched and in the mail within a couple of business days. The plate is rough cut, and I can remove excess material down to the edging. If you require a mold, add a week to the process.
